Moksha Sannyasa Yoga, the Yoga of Liberation and Renunciation, is the final and concluding chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. In this chapter, Lord Krishna summarizes all the spiritual teachings given throughout the Gita and explains the ultimate path toward liberation, self-realization, inner peace, and surrender to the Divine.
Krishna teaches Arjuna the true meaning of renunciation (Sannyasa) and selfless action (Tyaga). He explains that true renunciation does not mean abandoning duties, but performing all actions without attachment to rewards, ego, fear, or selfish desires. A person who performs righteous duties with devotion, wisdom, discipline, and surrender attains spiritual freedom and peace.
The chapter discusses knowledge, action, duty, intelligence, determination, happiness, the three Gunas, Dharma, and the importance of following one’s natural responsibilities according to inner nature and spiritual understanding.
Lord Krishna ultimately advises Arjuna to surrender fully to the Divine with faith and devotion. Through surrender, wisdom, and selfless action, a seeker becomes free from ignorance, suffering, fear, and karmic bondage.
